Persistence Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Persistence

Rating: 5.0

Nothing can come between us
what we've got is flavorous
love beyond physical lust
truth sometimes hurt, it cuts
They'll try and find a way to storm on our parade
This love will elevate
They'll try and find a way to storm on our parade
This love will elevate

Cold nights, cuddled up
During winter
Enveloped in the hours to remember
And all the world is left behind
when love take front and center

Love will always take persistence
quite sometime, but there was persistence
Something that had freed us
Something that will keep us
going the distance
Love will always take persistence

it was enough
We had a love
Going at slower speed
The height of love
should be moving sonically
And no they can't, no they won't, try and stop
What's beautiful to a world of greed
Cause I believe, you're all that I want, all that I need

Cold nights, cuddled up
During winter
Enveloped in the hours to remember
And all the world is left behind
When love take front and center

Love will always take persistence
quite sometime, but there was persistence
Something that had freed us
Something that will keep us
going the distance
Love will always take persistence
