Perfectly Imperfect Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Perfectly Imperfect

Perfectly placed
Table mats
Manicured
Bonsai on racks,

Marbled floors
Here affluence roars
Houses caged birds
Behind closed doors

Palatial house
Where quietness
Resounds
Wealthy gravity
Sadness abounds

No, I don't want
Want to be
A part of this life
Devoid of any trees
Cause I am a bird
Just want to fly free
