People's Verdict
The verdict is there
For all to see and think
It is not easy to go deep
Into the mood of the people
They can turn the tide
Without any wind blowing
Without the moon appearing
Without you knowing
Entice them with freebies
They will eat that all
And run away when time comes
Turning their backs
Sometimes democracy has
To surrender before
The whims of the masses
Excellent poem Anil ji. Never know which side the wind will blow. That is democracy- most unpredictable verdict of the people.
Beauty of democracy, it is a great leveler, when mood will swing nobody can predict. Good poem.5****
