Pendulum Poem by Mahfooz Ali

Pendulum

Rating: 5.0

Two senile men locked in an empty room...
one sits back and contemplates the other
while the other sits back and contemplates the first
they question, examine, analyse each other
being questioned, examined, analysed in turn
calling each other 'we'
the two men exist on opposite sides
of a mirror
arguing which is true
in one mind, one body,
one aware soul.
