Party Girl Poem by Paula Glynn

Party Girl

Welcome to my party,
The end of hell,
To laugh and cheer,
The happy future here,
With everybody my friend,
And the end of fear.

Party lights and streamers,
Balloons and happy dreamers,
Those days of tears and pain,
Just a forgotten spell,
The world never again stone,
The world now my precious home.

Love shines in this heart,
Where once I was stupid,
Now I am smart,
As I have a vast imagination,
My mind a creator of genius art.

No one to haunt me,
Bitterness gone,
For I have become my ultimate self,
My heart and mind now strong.

Where having been a fool,
Now I am ultra cool,
Never giving in,
Always speaking up,
And never again weak,
For I seek the path to happiness,
The world shining in glorious technicolor,
Like the most wonderful film.
