Pain Poem by Cory Tipton

Pain

What I do to get you to love me
It's hard to look at your face
And know you don't love me
But now you're going to act
Act like I was never in your life
How could you be so cold-hearted
To once love then forget me
Good luck on your mission
Forget all our great memories
All the times we hung out
The sweet, sweet kisses
The day we had a water balloon fight
We were both soaking wet
Went walking around soaked to the bone
People told me you were not good enough
But you were
You made me feel special
Made me feel whole inside
Pain from previous breakups gone
But the pain from ours
Was horrible and much more painful
