Him Poem by Cory Tipton

Him

The darkness inside
Lightens up when I see him
The sound of his voice
As smooth as silk
And as sweet as candy

His touch on my body is as cold as ice
Gentle, caring, and oh so tender
As if I'm glass and he's a wrecking ball
So easy to detroy things
And trying so hard not to make the wrong move
A move so easily made but loves me enough
Enough to be cautious
Extremely cautious

Loves every inch of my skin
Every curve of my body
Loving me for me
Not someone I act like
Not a fancy or funny show
Just me and my attitude
And that's why I love him
