Poe's Theory Of Man Poem by Cory Tipton

Poe's Theory Of Man

When you look at a person
You judge them immediately
But what none see
The evil inside everyone
Lays deep or sits on the surface
Either way
Nobody can hide the evil within
It's dark and horrible
Lying and cheating you all the time
Eats you from the inside out
Slowly amd painfully
Every pain builds up the evil
Feeding it and it never shrinks
Until it's big enough
Then it pops out and hurts those around
The evil
The love from Satan
The love of us humans
God's lack of love for us
Both combined lies inside us
Only some realize it
But no one does anything
