Our Worlds Battle Poem by Jacqueline Louw

Our Worlds Battle

Rating: 5.0

In a world so cold sometimes so cruel
We face a battle
good against bad
a devastating duel

Looking at old photographs
looking at how fast the time pass

Friends that was once here
left this world...
unexpectedly..
Memories i will hold in my heart so dear
memories that lives in me

Never did they think
about the lives they will destroy
doing damage without a blink

Tears in loved ones eyes
hate and revenge in hearts against the culprit
the one they so much despise

When will this battle ever end?
When will everyone call each other their friend?

This poem speak to me. I love how you put these word into sets of stanzas. This remind me of my old friends and how we made ourself into enemies and somehow our friendship doesn't connect anymore. This is also making me wonder that true friendS is hard to come by. I LOVE THIS POEM! ! ! KEEP IT COMING!
