Our Precious Valley Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

We often walked that mountain trail,
And somehow we would never fail,
To stop to look, on the valley view,
Those lovely days I spent with you.

And in the distance we could see,
It meant so much to you and me,
Our place of birth,
Beneath the trees,
Right there,
In our precious valley.

Surrounding mountains,
Glowed in the sun,
You were my guide,
My precious one,
To, spend time with you,
Was so much fun,
I never will forget you.

The sun shone upon us,
From afar,
If only to walk with you again,
On those mountains,
Days we spent,
You were my precious
Shining star,
And I'll forever love you.
