Only You And Me Poem by Hebert Logerie

Only You And Me

Only you and me in the friendship
Only you and me in the relationship
We need no extras
No brothers, no sisters
Everything should be up to us
The kisses, the laughters and the dusts
We don't need to be loud
At our age
In our marriage
We don't need a crowd
For this small stage
Oh! Let's be selfish
We don't need to diminish
The intensity of our love
Ignore the doves above
They are like flying rats
Like filthy bats
They are infected with rabies
And other strange diseases
We need to be left alone
Like a twin heavy stone
Only you and me on the ship
To enjoy our relationship.

Sometimes family interference could weaken a marriage or strengthen one. A good write about relationships and how they intertwine with one another.
