One Woman's Symphony Poem by Maja Dezulovic

One Woman's Symphony

They say she has a
malady
but in her head
there's this glorious
melody.

When others hear noise
or nothing at all,
she recognises
her song.

It is heartbreaking
that they'd rather
judge her
try change it,
than
listen to her experience
save her the loneliness
and joyfully play along.
