One Sweet Dream Poem by Robert Sheridan

One Sweet Dream

One gains - no misses
One debuts - reserve an interest
Best in solitude - non-interruptus
One's morality - one's philosophy
No weak judgments – no weak knees
One’s delights – no prosecution
One’s inner-self – welcome to the rushes;
Sleep in the coolness – in your unawares
Let sweet peace conduct – feel tranquility’s breeze
New melodies – lofty countenance
Find sweet lips – sequestered ambiance
Melancholy sweet – joyous follies
Departed loved ones – no tears
Sweet peace – gradual 20-20 vision;
Vast precision - ticking, ticking
Long or short - oft times visits
Comes true - post-adolescent
Opens doors - new path emerges
Wake from one dream – into another
Not mass-produced- no dissatisfaction
Soul revival – polished gleam.
