One Day Old Age Will Bend Me Down Poem by Rani Turton

One Day Old Age Will Bend Me Down

Rating: 5.0

One day age will bend me down
And I will walk slowly like my old father.
I will have left life's mysterious codes
Those codes that slowly left me, rather.

That day will come soon enough:
Old age has its own mystey and pain;
But wonder too at the singing bird, the trailing rose
The thunder and the rain.

My bones will be frail, my shoulders stooped.
I will recall the past, mirages and things;
Time will be measured by each new dawn, and
The wonders that each sunrise brings.

I wish age doesn't bend you down, Ma'am. You will continue to be more vigorous and radiating forever.

Dear, dear, beautiful young woman, Rani You've programmed your brain to command its body.. There is nothing new nor old in the Universe All are recycled from whatever has been and never will its origin reveal to we, the feeble Homo Sapiens with having Illusions of 'Grandeur' Soo, I walk a bit bent, dance with heart, whomever comes along. The day will come whenever. Birds can not predict their fate but care of whom are generous to back yard feed them as I have for many years. There songs and appearance revitalize my ever listening and tireless heart We can manage to write and effect with interest, as you've proven by your worry-some poem.. Strengthen your starved bones with that which you've neglected to feed them. There is time now. Recollection is where you will discover your own 'Fountain of Youth' You need thoughtfully sip of its memory and dance as you once had, from cloud to cloud. The Sun knows not of such reminding by anyone it nourishes when passing by. It will take more than one day to bend anyone down who cares for themselves and looks up to within spiritual depths and Oceans of sky. See my poem, 'Defiance' listed here on PH. The day needs no Watch Tower to turn itself on. O la la, Mon Ami' want to dance w' ...louie' ?

Good summary of the things, though small, which can be enjoyed in old age Rani - - and a realistic way of reminding readers that nostalgia plays an important role in that period of time - - wistful poem - carefully presented - 10 + + + Fay
