One Day At A Time
One day at a time we live, we die.
We walk down roads that never end.
One day at a time we laugh, we cry.
We sit and ponder - who's our friends?
One day at a time we run, we fly.
We stand and watch the time we spend.
One day at a time we talk, we lie.
We do not realise the thoughts we send.
One day at a time we love, we try,
never thinking of the heart's we mend.
