Ventricles Poem by Rodney Dufault

Ventricles

Rating: 5.0

We've all this blood passing through our ventricles
snaking through our bodies just like tentacles.
Without heart's our brain's are only vegetables,
and the language of love would be unintelligible.
That's why I'm happy my heart's exceptional,
and that's not just words - It's demonstrable.
I used to have a heart that was impenetrable,
softened unintentional ever since I've been with you.
