One Day Poem by God is Good

One Day

Rating: 5.0

I sit up alone at night…
In my mind I hear the screams of fright…
Which puts a smile on my face..
As I remember the scenes from today..
Walkin through the lovely park..
All laughter cease…
All becomes dark..
No children chasing after one another..
All smiles wiped away…
That’s right, no more laughter…
The bullies around me…
All fall to their knees….
Their mean harsh words…
Soon turns to pleas.
I walk away….
Knowing they’ve claimed their death…
I kill all fools…
And signs of weakness…
Now,
I hear the recent whispers…
Voices sayin,
“cometh hither”,
I go to them thinking what fun…
They take me in, now thinking what have I done? .
Because I am the darkest of them all….
And I’ll rule the world,
And all will fall.

Death is the permanent termination of the biological functions that define a living organism.Enquiry into the evolution of aging aims to explain why so many living things and the vast majority of animals weaken and die with age. The evolutionary origin of senescence remains one of the fundamental puzzles. One of the challenges in defining death is in distinguishing it from life.Indeed when death is about to take place, there is a complete turn from all the frolics of life and one experiences the journey of expiry.......a good poem showing a trembling pendulum vibrating between life and death..........10/10.

the only thing I could think of while I was reading this was how so many things change from the mere setting of the sun... The one who bother us during the day are usually the ones running from us in the dark, mainly because they cant see the beauty in their own death....
