One Among The Many Groomed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

One Among The Many Groomed

If one among the many,
Has been groomed...
To be a crook.
Deceiver and a thief.
With corruption to only know,
As a life to live and believe.
Why are those,
Who picked someone like this...
To represent their interests.
Done to sit,
In a position of leadership.
Now decide,
The time has come...
For them to express shock.
And dismay
In a nonstopping disbelief.
On display to have the ones,
Tricked fooled and duped.
Done successfully to do.
With the one among the many,
Groomed to be a thief and crook...
The only one depicted to be a fool.
When they have manifested to infest,
Together.
A convincing sold to humanity,
To invest in their misdeeds.
