Once Love Betides Us Poem by Naldo Africa

Once Love Betides Us

Girl i wish you could
light upon the circuit
to my heart's ambience,
In order for you to see
i love you so dearly

When you passed me,
the ''hi'' and ''Hello''
is not an option,
to call for my name,
is a free question

To read my feelings
is the answer,
i gave tongue to
a smile of a year,
a wink of a month

Yet it's unseen by you
you the epitome
of being in love,
open your heart girl,
let me help you

Pardon me lovely miss...
i don't care,
i will wait for you
or did you place me
on the waiting list?
