One Saterday Night Poem by Naldo Africa

One Saterday Night

Whilst ambulating in
the sullen city,
the wind breathes gayly
through the alleys,

Raindrops fall,
far distant
you could hear
how the pelter patters
an elegiacal call

All of a sudden;
three rascals strode by
and seized a young girl
out of her car

Dragged her soma
to the darkest
corner afar

She wailed like a siren,
in fear i ran away

Strange later on...
they came along the path
placed a lively smile
on my dead face.
