Once Poem by Veronica Jane

Once

Your body it’s moving next to mine.
I can feel you with me; we aren’t moving apart, but rather, together.
Your taste could consume me, it’s minty and beer and man and sweat and thismoment all rolled into one..

I don’t know if I’m ready for this, and I don’t really care.
I know how far this is going, but I won’t stop it, I can’t.
Your body is on mine and I don’t know where we split.

This is a dance, and it’s just you and I in an endless ballroom twirling around forever.
