Classrooms Poem by Veronica Jane

Classrooms

Sitting in this room, doing stuff we’ve already done.

They can’t ‘spect us to really pay attention..

These teachers are teaching us what’s only in the books.

There’s nothing in there about the societal laws they’re giving us.

The price of this education can’t be worth it!

Why would I pay so much to know a Law of Diffusion?

It’s just not worth it.

I learn more from the streets.
