On Nothing Poem by Shreya Jani

so I tried once again to give wings to thought
the stuff made of lightness became heavy
the love of definitions came smiling again
when nothing perches on your window
yet the song bird sings and you wonder
Did the melody invite you when you went missing?
meanings and label an interaction with the world
if we where to dance in only those realms
there would be no you no me
a world without names
but rhetorically we live and knew
things from another world unfolded
and yet we needed words
so we stand along side ours
like the ocean and the sand
beauty and purpose questioning
cause relevance was seaked always
living with moons beliving in stars! !
