Old with new

I am an old timer
so cool and happier
with dedicated efforts to alter
the situation in favor

the world is moving very fast
and I remain at last
with the thinking
that I am losing the space

Everything is edging me out
I remain where I was and learned nothing about
the changing world
many things were told

I feel like a soul in the cage
where one has nothing new to write on the page
adjust to the new environment
and effectively present

life needs change
and one must be in a position to manage
move in with an authority
and prove the capability
