Oh Dear, We Are Sinking Together (A Tribute To Flood Victims) Poem by Prakash Mehra

Oh Dear, We Are Sinking Together (A Tribute To Flood Victims)

Rating: 4.9

My hut; It’s too spacious to carry we two.
Visit my space,
Don’t stay homeless!

My disc; it’s half your share, half my share,
Join my plate,
Don’t stay foodless!

My hug; It’s all I have, and it’s all for you.
Accept my love,
Don’t stay hopeless!

It hurts; Oh dear, we are sinking together,
Hold me tight,
Let’s reunite; let’s survive!

As long as we have hope, there is always a way to survive, and in hard times when someone is there for you, it is a great hope indeed.
