Ocean's Fool Poem by Zakhele Anigon

Ocean's Fool

Rating: 5.0

It has been so long since we've been
A piece of my mind did never leave
My memories betray my obsession
They've become jaded and it's a lesson
No matter how tight you hold the sandcastle in your palm
Every wave that comes and goes will take away some of the sand
Until your clenched fist is holding nothing
The ocean's fool, clinging to the emptiness that used to be something
