O Migrant Worker! (Lockdown Period) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

O Migrant Worker! (Lockdown Period)

O Migrant Worker! ,
I do not know,
I do not know it,
Where you to go,
Where to reach by,
How the troubles and tribulations
Of the journey taken by you,
On what unknown paths and ways of life,
Into which, which lanes and streets
To pass through
The crossroads inter crossing each other,
The diversions to take
For reaching home,
Hometowns and destinations,
A tedious journey undertaken
As a pedestrian,
A footman you going,
Going on the path of life
To reach home,
But where is this home dreamt,
Dreamt by you
If on the mind's vision
Or exists it really
As will,
Will they welcome you gladly
In this selfish age
Where you going,
Going to
And for what,
What?

N.B. The insiders want not the outsiders those who have left for years and years ago as for claiming their unclaimed properties and at that point the relatives do not remain relatives. If you pay a visit frequently, it may be that you will claim for properties. The other thing is this that during the lockdown there may be the question of the quarantine. The last of all, if have to earn, why not there? There is nothing as motherland or fatherland, janmabhumi or karmabhumi which gives it food and shelter is in reality Yasodha Maiyya.
