A stunning poem on symbols of Sacrifice and Rememberance - of giving.
A great poem reveling the truth! parents sacrifice many things in life almost like a burning candle which doesn't want anything in return! It's truly a master piece!
your personification of life with a candle burning for the comfort of others is just commendable..
I know I read this but I will comment again because knowing me I read it and didn't comment. I do that sometimes. This was a truly remarkable piece so full of truth. Very well done as always..
The candle has been used to great effect in this marvellous poem!
candle represents life....you defined well how candle burns itself..if it melts, light another..written in few lines but express hundreds of meanings..cheers.. naizz
Candle burns itself, goes through melting pain gradually engulfs the whole of it, but it shines everything in its surrounding... In sheer darkness it is the only light which gives us hope and vision... Beautifully written poem...

I found this write, very inspriational, as its representation, to nver give up hope, as the wick is still witholding...... Bonnie
great analogy here Kesav reminds us that time is precious, the wick does not get replaced in this world
The candle is a wonderful theme, and I like how you draw the comparison, so competently with ourselves. It lights up my day! Karin Anderson
Last line renews the metaphor & a right kind of composition of words on which you are special.10+++
what a wonderful poem my friend...its life it self...picture in the most imaginative view of poetry...a big bang in the revelation of what is a poet...thank you and God bless my friend.....a 10
This is a wonderful piece. It's sort of like a human being. We kind of consume ourselves during our lifetime giving away bits of ourselves a little at a time. I like this very much.
