Now You Know What I Could Do Poem by Dipy Hermonite

Now You Know What I Could Do

Now you know what I could do?
You're petrified? Of just mild flu?
Didn't you know you'd crossed all bounds?
Spread hate across, on flimsy grounds?
The rich in you exploited poor,
The greed in most hankered for more,
Weapons of war is all you build,
You blame me now for some thousands killed?
But do you ever think at all?
Of millions that you've maimed and mauled?
The racism that you bring about?
The ‘blacks', the ‘whites', the ‘browns', the ‘louts'?
‘Humanity' is a long lost word,
You lost it when your senses blurred,
For sheer raw power your greed does crave,
To ‘Control' the world you rant and rave,
But now you know I'll cross your bounds,
You'll see me not, I'll make no sound,
I'll stop you but, to make make you think,
To mend your ways, to see the link,
So sit in bed and stop my spread,
Do introspective, ‘bout where this led,
Hug your child, your spouse, your dog,
Be kind again, clear your mind of fog,
I came along to tell you that,
This world of ours is round not flat,
You throw at them, it'll come around,
Hit back at you, pull you aground,
But do not fear, for I'll go away,
The birds will chirp again some day,
So seize this chance and bring the change,
Be good, be kind, live life again! !
