Now I know,
the love in your heart,
that yearns for me,
as mine does for you.

I never thought I'd see it,
all of this love,
that you've kept hidden,
for what seems like years.

I never would've guessed,
I'd ever smile so much,
but knowing you feel,
the same makes me smile.

It's funny really,
how I thought wrong,
how you were always there,
right behind me.

If only I had opened,
my eyes even once,
then I might've seen,
all that was coming.

'Forbidden love',
so you call it,
I'm glad we found,
it all so soon.

Honestly I was going,
insane not seeing,
how you felt and,
what the next play was.
