I was surprised to see a window sign
Dat was written by a good friend of mine
'Aunt Jemima' say, we's closed today
I got's an appointment on the 10th of May

I's goin to da clinic to get an exam
Da doctor say it's time for my 'Mammy Gram'

Dey say it's like havin an x-ray
You count from one to three
Then all of a sudden it grabs ya
Dey gonna 'put the squeeze on me'

I'll be back soon (no need for sorrow) Except-
'No buckwheat pancakes' until tomorrow
