Nothing To Place In An Album Of Memories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Nothing To Place In An Album Of Memories

Rating: 4.0

Lights on, tracking melodies of yesterday, listening to their
climbing steps towards another sphere in life, foibles tumbling
across our vision in search of a place they once had known.

Now, lost at sea, nothing to place in an album of memories that
no longer exists except in puzzles of faded memories and many
tattered remains of a past that can never again be lived on earth.

Will they travel with our soul when we die and leave this earth
or will they also die in the vestiges of what might have been
one day, no longer having any control over this moment of life.

Memories are strengths. Keep us up in time of distress. Even though lost in sea it guides light to come back. Well written nostalgic poetry, wheter it dies or not, but memories are cherished treasure. Well written.
