Not Me Poem by Joshua Wyatt

Not Me

Rating: 5.0

Roll out of bed, I hit the floor.
Pick myself up and stumble into the shower
The water washes away my sleep,
it washes away yesterday's worries.
Washing up, putting on my clothes.......

Wait this doesn't feel right.
Something is off.
These are not my clothes.
I start eating and it doesn't taste the same.

Finally slip on my shoes.
Well not my shoes really.
This isn't the life for me, this isn't me.

I'm going to change it all.
Everything in my life that i see.
Ill change it until it is truly me.

Change is the law of life. But we cannot force them.We can only try them.
