No Worth Poem by Charles M Moore

No Worth

This saddened heart
that's torn inside
this beating thing
that prides remorse
what value now
in life giving
when soul decides
you have no worth.

It's the heart that says such things in dark moments - the soul knows the One who made it... 'Priding remorse', stuck on regrets and shame - you're right, it's the surest route to a life wasted in sorrow (I've seen it) ... Our souls need love and refreshment. Here you show what it means to go without, in a few perfect words.

Every soul has worth. Even though at times we may feel we don't we must remember who created us. And the worth can shine through. A serious read. Patricia
