Nobody. Poem by Charles M Moore

Nobody.

Rating: 5.0

Nobody knows, what she once meant to him
he now feels polarized, lost in the swim
memories fading and tenderness gone
he wrote down his feelings and made them a song

Nobody cares, that he once was in love
surrounded, enchanted, in need of lifes blood
sparking excitement, feeling the heat
volumes of episodes between the sheets

Nobody notices, now that he's old
his heart still yearns, yet burns in the cold
needs to make contact, needs company
but nobody, nobody, knows it but me.
