No Virtue Stands Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

No Virtue Stands

To pick or pluck to stay afloat;
To beg or rob to swim ahead;
To get preys till become a prey;
What scriptures are worth following?
Heaps are made from some sweeps or digs.
The Himalaya peaks contrast
With the Pacific Ocean's depths.
What judgment is sustainable?
A bison fattens at grass death.
A lion strengthens on Bisons death.
The pity grass toils for others.
What is the sin that you can frame?
God is the creator, all hail.
Who is the terminator then?
God gives you some held by others.
Must you spend on Him time and wealth.
