No Regret Poem by Soumita Sarkar

No Regret

Go away fear
Now I have conquer
That old shiver of
losing a friend
In me I see
a deep well of love
low but glowing strong
that overpowers all loss
Once this was shallow
dark and murky
Now it shines and binds
in me an ocean of forgiveness
In my capacity I give
the nectar of faith
as much as it holds
Down this river goes
some heart sips it
some gulp some vomit
Yet it streams clear
like a mirror
it reflects back the flaws
it absorbs all tears
it merges with darkness
to make a night disappear
a new morning rise and appear
