She's looking through a window,
Stairing at a sky.
Her heart is slowly breaking,
She cannot help but cry.
She's thinking 'bout the good times,
The times they used to share.
The tears are running down her cheeks,
And no-one seems to care.
Her soul is full of hatred,
Her body's feeling sad.
And she's thinking all about,
The life he should've had.
She's screaming on her knees now,
Upon the hard, cold floor,
And nobody will help her,
She can't do it anymore.
She staggers to the kitchen,
And quickly picks up the knife.
The blade is on her skin,
She's taking her own life.
A pool of her own blood,
A bucket full of tears.
A pulse that has stopped beating,
A heart that's full of fears.
But nobody would help her,
They left her there to cry.
And nobody seemed to care,
So they left her there to die.
I think this is pretty good. I am new to this poetry thing, so I'm not a tough critic, but from a novice perspective, its nice. I can relate to this poem. I like sad and inspirational poems the most. Good job :)
So sad Kirstin.......If all seemes no one cares to us, there is a great being who cares all the time.....He who a great hand that helps us in times of need...He who lights up our way in our darkest hours. Just open up your door and let Him enter your heart and soul...The One up there, He'll never make you wander. Cate
