Mistaken For Love Poem by Kirstin Barnes

Mistaken For Love

A sparkle in her heart,
The smile she hides inside,
The look in his eyes,
And the sound of their voices.
Mistaken for love.

The touch of his hand,
The shivers she gets,
The happiness she feels,
And a world so calm and happy.
Mistaken for love.

The time he stops liking,
The agony she endures,
The pain she lives with,
And the boy so blind.
Mistaken for love.

Love hurts,
We cry.
Stay strong,
You'll survive.

The world's always mistaken for love.
