No More Fear
I'm free, no more fist tearing flesh from my face
No more nightmares, no more fear, saved by Gods grace
Bruises all gone and black eyes too
No more suffering because of you
You can no longer stomp me to the floor
You can't beat me, or spew hate at me anymore
I'm no longer afraid of you, you're dead to me
My body is finally away from you, I've been set free
You've tried to destroy me, my life is away from you
What I have left is no self esteem, a heart that's no longer blue
You've left me broken, who I am or what I am I don't know
You will never know how I grew to hate you blow by blow
You took me as a young woman, naive to your ways
You took all the beauty I ever knew, now I'm free, it's you that pays
If I ever loved you, through all the beatings, I can't remember
The fire all burnt up, I am now so broken just a smoking ember!
