No More Poem by Valerie Dohren

No More

Rating: 4.4

Whene`er the birds no longer sing
The earth no more revolve
Then shall my silent heart take wing
And life shall thus dissolve

When all the stars no more to shine
The sun no more to burn
Then shall the earth no more confine
My soul, no more to yearn

When all the time of mortal birth
Shall cease, this soul set free
Shall soar beyond the still`ed earth
To touch eternity
