No Devilry Poem by Ernestine Northover

No Devilry

Rating: 4.3

All kind thoughts will blossom,
All good deeds will spread,
Love will be in every heart,
And trust, in every head.

No cruelty will ever flourish,
No greed will ever thrive,
Only the tender and caring,
Will be the ones who will survive.

The birds will sing more sweetly,
The flowers will brighter be,
The climate will stay so tranquil,
And there will be no devilry.

Each new day will dawn so joyful,
Each night we will peacefully nod,
When this entire world, in silent prayer,
Gives its whole soul to God.
