No Country Is Poor Poem by Hebert Logerie

No country is poor
I mean too many "so-called leaders"
With a poor or bad spirit are blocking the front door
Or running too many countries like cheaters
Or morons with an extremely low IQ
They never lead anything before, suddenly
They become candidates for the presidency
Of a country, where most people are confused
And are unable to distinguish front and queue
Ballots and bullets, excuse and recuse
It's interesting to think of them and be amused.

Too many presidents are stupid
Nobody should vote for Cupid
Albeit he does not have the brain
To perform a heart bypass like a surgeon
If you're a carpenter, build some cabinets
If you're a singer, entertain some puppets
If you're a bright and patriotic politician, run for president
To put an end to corruption, theft and silence the goons who rant
From morning to midnight like a sleazy entertainer
No country is poor
Only a smart leader can improve things forever.
