Night Out With The Coyotes Poem by Carlos Daniel Neves

Night Out With The Coyotes

everyone knows how i am weak
you say you like me and i'll buy you a drink
i wear my life just like some clothes
i try to make something but just make it worst

trying to hide but i don't know why
build up a wall and it's as big as the sky
don't come to meet me there is nothing to find
but if you come please leave you're heart behind

leave it behind there's no place for it here
leave it at home where it's suposed to be

i see life passing and i don't mind
i'll think of my mistakes later at night
so all my friends say i'm drowning in tears
but i only cry with cheap movies and beer

bring me some boose and i'll tell you my fears
help me pass out so my mind will be free

i don't want somone to take care of me
i just need your help to get the hell out of here
and my hunger, it grows stronger
as my heart goes out of order
and i need, need to feel
anything that is not real
