New Year’s Eve
Another cycle to complete
The earth’s obligation to meet
The insides wait upon the breath
To conquer the dying year
Now to declare a winning year
Prayer, happiness, joy with tears
We seek the warmth of the new born
Greet not our yearnings with scorn
