When It Is Dawn
When it is dawn
And frogs spawn
Life is again born
But the snakes are to scorn
And life is torn
When it is dawn
The birds soar
And croons the chorus for dawn
But the fireflies mourn
When it is dawn
And the lion roars
Sounding like a fiercely beaten horn
The day is a bore
And it is filled with yawns
