New World Of Music Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

New World Of Music

Sparkling moods cascading through my mind, lighting an
interior spirit with hopeful beauty, taking insight and
watching it encompass the environment around me.

Somnolent thoughts being awakened in measures of time,
rhythmically intertwining with intellect's imagination,
quickly running across the universe in acquiescence.

Fulfilling properties, becoming the total aspect of a
new world of music, soaring quietly into the atmosphere,
leaving our world behind.

As it moves outward into many new dimensions, taking
liberties poetically without permission and letting
them fall off of the ledges of imagination into depths
of another sphere far above the one we now know.

RoseAnn's poem truly opens our minds to the world of Music because she articulates the element of THE INFINITE. We hear it in the Beatles' great song HEY JUDE in which a young man is encouraged to stop dithering and take the risk of declaring his love but the music won't stop... it goes on and on, never coming to a rest. Or Mahler's sublime Symphony N.8 which embraces all forms of love from human to divine: Goete's mystical chorus which closes it doesn't end it. Its resonance stretches beyond our hearing into interstellar space. Such is the endless appeal of Music that RoseAnn hears wit her whole being - Follow her lead: Listen to whatever music you love and enter the New World Of Music she charts.
