Naked Dance Poem by Raaida Salik

Naked Dance

Rating: 4.3

Naked I dance
For the clothes make me look ugly
Some boast of colours
Others smile at my scarred hips
I am a faquir
Drench my flawed body in the shine of wine
And offer prayers to the greatest Thief
The one that stole my sins
Now, I am clean as wind
Someone take me to the trembling past
I will kiss some nectar into my lonely nights
Alas, what will I be left with if loneliness abandons me?

It may appear outrageous to many but it scoffs at the hypocrisy prevailing in our societies everywhere. Thanks for sharing.
