Mystic Love
Though I cannot find you now,
Anywhere on this earth,
And everyone is saying repeatedly
That no longer you exist.
But o’ my dear my love for ever
I still feel you to be around me
Getting your body’s intoxicating smell
And I hear that chiming of your ankle bells.
Your whispering voice I can hear
And feel your hot breath on me.
Though I feel the saltiness
Both in air and in my eyes,
My mind fills with a solace and it calms
When I dream and feel your soul with me.
You shine brightly in the core of my heart
As a delightful glittering star.
I feel to be completely drenched
With the aura of your amazing love.
Sitting alone in the dead of night
Eagerly I await your arrival anytime.
Night after night being awaken,
Expecting you to come with a big smile.
Looking to the path under moonlit night
Keeping the doors open outright.
Waiting eagerly for you, my love
To welcome and lead you inside.

We never stop looking for our loved one. We feel their presence next to us, but long for their touch as well. How important that physical contact is. How incomplete our love feels without their arms to hold us, and their lips to kiss us, and their eyes to gaze upon us. We live our lives impatiently, waiting for that day we can be reunited in some other realm. Beautiful, heart-wrenching words that bring tears to my eyes.
