This could be one of the very last;
I seem to be running out quite fast.
What kind it is, I do not know.
If you know, can you tell me so?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Another small flower in my flower garden, of which I do not know the name. Can anyone identify it?

This is not a contest. There is no prize for identifying this flower, just the satisfaction of doing so.

Hi Kim, Judith asked me to look at your picture. My speciality is wild flowers but I must say she might be spot on with Nicotiana. They are a Native american plant and they do have those strange funnel shaped corolla typical of nicotiana. Most varieties have five petals giving a star like appearance. And some varieties do spread out in that unusual format. My gut feeling is that lass has scored a touch down there! It's a beautiful plant and your couplets aren't bad either!
